Thank you to everyone for making the Easter Egg Hunt a success yesterday.  I think that everyone had a wonderful time at the Easter Egg Hunt.  It looks like we had around 30 children based on the goodie bags passed out.  A big shout out to the teens for their help with hiding the Easter Eggs for the TTPC Annual Easter Egg Hunt as well as Miss Dawn and the Girl Scouts for supplying the Easter Eggs, prizes and goodie bags.  Attached are some pictures that will be displayed on The Faith Links bulletin board, but thought you might like a sneak peak. As we reflect on the good time had by all yesterday with the Easter Egg Hunt, let it remind us that this was much more than hiding eggs for the children to hunt.  This event gathered so many people into a worship community, showing and sharing God's love with the least among us.  Doing events like this remind us that we worship a living Jesus, not just a messiah from 2,000 years ago.  Jesus is among us today, as he was in history, and as he will be in the future. Deuteronomy 6:4-9. "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.  Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.   These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.  Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.  Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.   Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."
