Are you starting to feel that this virus has you under house arrest? Are you working from home? Have all of your usual groups and meetings have been canceled or become virtual meetings? Even when out walking people avoid you, well everyone?
Thank you for helping to limit the spread of this pandemic!
This week we will worship as a congregation distributed in our communities. Perhaps you are merely checking us out because you can look in and see how we honor God.
Our distributed worship illustrates how we are to follow Jesus without the firmness of the law, trusting the Spirit to connect us and guide our mission and ministries.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.Romans 8:2
I hope that our virtual worship services are connecting you one to another so that we might be free in Christ, despite the viral storm that is separating us.
I will have more to say about Romans 8:1-11 below at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 29th.

A Tip for Parents
What scents remind you of special people? Perhaps a perfume that your mother wore, a particular aftershave, the aroma of baking bread, sweet flowers.
Matthew 26 records a woman pouring an expensive perfume on Jesus. How might you use a scent to help you child recognize the sweet smell of the gospel? Do you have a fragrant hand lotion or perhaps fresh sage or mint that you could mix with a little oil and use that to anoint one another?
Worship this Sunday
Please comment below about this Sunday’s worship service.
As disciples of Jesus Christ we give so that we may dedicate the whole of our lives by sharing a portion of what we earn with others.
Although COVID-19 has forced us to curtail all groups, meetings, classes, …, even office hours, we continue other ministries. For example: Wednesday Bible Study and Sunday school for children meet via video-teleconference.
Giving to the church on a regular basis has never been easier. Use on-line giving through your bank or click the button and set up a recurring “e‑tithe” to make an automatic offering every week, month or year, in whatever amount you choose. We continue to check our mailbox regularly so you may mail your check to us.
