Oct. 4 – Worship with Rev. Tony Winter

This week we have the Rev. Tony Winter leading Sunday worship for us, and he will be with us 2 more Sundays. We are currently seeking an interim pastor since Pastor Robert is retiring after being with us 5 years.

Reverend Tony Winter is a staff Chaplain at Moffitt Cancer Center working with patients and staff primarily in the ICU and telemetry units. Tony has a love for the church as a cradle Christian who got to grow and live out his faith in a small Presbyterian church. He earned a Masters of Divinity degree from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in Dubuque, IA in 2012 and was ordained in 2014. He is Board Certified with the Association of Professional Chaplains. Tony served as a chaplain with HealthEast Care Systems in St. Paul, MN over 3 years before joining Moffitt in 2016. Fun facts: Tony was a radio broadcaster in his first career and had his own mobile DJ service up until the move to Florida. His favorite new role is as a father of 2 year old daughter Olivia. Tony, wife Jackie and Olivia live in Lutz but soon to be in Thonotosassa.

By 7:00 AM this Sunday a video of this worship service will be embedded here. After that time, you will also be able to view worship on a smart-TV through YouTube by searching for Temple Terrace Presbyterian Church.

The Offering

As disciples of Jesus Christ we give so that we may dedicate the whole of our lives by sharing a portion of what we earn with others.

Although COVID-19 has forced us to curtail all in person groups, meetings, classes, even office hours. Yet, we continue other ministries. For example: Wednesday Bible Study, Sunday school for children and the Fellowship Hour, and committee meeting all are by video-teleconference.

In these unusual times we deeply appreciate giving through your bank’s website or by clicking our Give Now button. We continue to check our mailbox regularly so you may mail your check to us.
